How to Write Songs - Superior Songwriting Review

What follows is a review of Superior Songwriting. If you are trying to learn how to write songs, this review should help you decide if this product is right for you.

I’m actually going to start off with a complaint. Not about the product, but about the sales page. It’s awful. This person is obviously a musician and not a marketer. I’m almost ashamed to send you the site and quite honestly, if the product wasn’t so solid, I wouldn’t bother. But somebody needs to tell them that their site is killing sales, which is a shame.

Anyway, let me get to the product itself. Songwriting is a science as much as it is an art, though many people won’t admit that. No product, I don’t care how good it is, can teach you the art, or what most people call, the talent. If you don’t have some affinity for writing a melody and a lyric (meaning your tone deaf and your vocabulary is that of a 5 year old) save your money. This product won’t help you one little bit. I’m serious. You’re wasting your time. But, if you can hum your way out of a paper bag and can write a coherent thought, then this product WILL give you the X’s and O’s in how to write songs.

Yeah, I know, I just took all the glamour out of this business. But the truth is, songwriting is just that…a business. And the technical part of it can be learned by anybody with half a brain.

Anyway not only do they teach you how to write songs, but they also teach you how to sell your songs. This may be even more important than the songwriting part itself because no matter how good your song is, if you don’t know how to pitch it, you’re not going to have the success that you want.

The book does NOT glamorize the industry. It gives you the cold hard facts of what it takes to write a hit song and what you need to do with it AFTER you’ve written it. If you knew the truth about all these “beautiful” songs that you’ve been hearing all these years, you’d realize that they are just formula. Superior Songwriting WILL give you that formula…and more.

At the very least, check out their miserable looking web site and when you get this rock solid book, tell them that I said they should hire a new web designer. Don't miss out on learning how to write songs because of a bad site design. Here is the link where you can find their truly exceptional product.
